Becoming a professional artist is the same as becoming a professional in any field-it takes time, practice, patience, and A LOT of hard work.‘‘G’day ladies and gentleman, welcome to Draw with Jazza, I’m Jazza and today we’re going to…” is the cheerful greeting of local artist, animator and popular social media personality Josiah Brooks, as he introduces his very popular YouTube channel of arty entertainment: Draw with Jazza. This has opened up all sorts of artistic opportunities for me. My big break came when I decided to focus my efforts into my YouTube channel and it took off. Over time, I built my experience in digital art and animation -specifically by producing independent animation and flash games for sponsorship. I used Adobe Photoshop and my custom Photoshop brushes (available from my web shop) on a Wacom Cintiq 27QHD tablet.

Today Jazza continues to produce innovative content for YouTube, as well as run his own studio, creating tutorials and artistic resources to share and sell online. In 2013 he created animation and art tutorials for YouTube on his channel, ”Draw With Jazza.” At first, he uploaded a video a week, then increased the content as his following grew.
